Artist Manager Bud Prager Dies
E.S.P. Management President Bud Prager, 79, died after a long battle with esophageal cancer at his home in Montauk, N.Y., Dec. 22.
In the ’60s, Prager founded Windfall Records which grew into artist management company Windfall Music Enterprises.
He helped form Foreigner in 1976 and was the band’s manager for 17 years. He co-managed Bad Company starting in 1986 and also co-managed Damn Yankees and Megadeth.
E.S.P. currently manages Ronni O’Keefe, Shane Minor and Volcanic. A memorial is planned for early ’09 and details are available through [email protected].
