War Arena Looks Global Spectrum

Officials in Pennsylvania have reportedly signed a letter of intent for Global Spectrum to manage the Cambria County War Memorial Arena in Johnstown.

Cambria County’s commissioners were closing a 10-year agreement Dec. 24 for Global Spectrum to manage the 7,500-capacity arena. Details still needed to be finalized, but Global Spectrum is expected to take over facility management duties come February.

“We feel good about this – good about where we’re at,” Commissioner Bill Harris told the Altoona Mirror. Global would receive about $100,000 in 2009, or $8,333 a month, the paper noted.
