Busta Rhymes and 50 Cent are hopping on the luxury beverage bandwagon following a recent deal between the rappers’ management company, Violator, and Drinks Americas.

Busta Rhymes gives a shout out to Los Angeles’ Universal Amphitheatre.
The artists will market the company’s Leyrat Cognac and Sparkling Vodka brands, the Greenwich Time reported, similar to previous deals Drinks has with Dr. Dre’s alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, Willie Nelson’s Old Whiskey River Bourbon and Donald Trump’s Super Premium Vodka.
Drinks president and CEO Patrick Kenny told the paper that even facing today’s struggling economy, the company believes it can prevail.

“The fact of the matter is, you can enjoy premium beverages, even if it’s a tough economy,” he said. “It’s not like you’re buying a fur coat or a 50-foot yacht. It’s a nice, little luxury for a small amount of money.”
Drinks America also has plans to put out a beer with Kid Rock next year, the paper said.
