“Steve Herman has clearly contributed to the continuing growth of The Agency Group, and we wish him well in his new position,” Agency Group CEO Neil Warnock said in the statement.
Jason Garner, Live Nation CEO of global music, added, “Steve’s vast experience serving artists as concert promoter, artist agent and executive is a valuable addition to our team.”
Herman was promoted to North America CEO in 2005 as part of a company restructure. Herman was president of the Toronto office. He began dividing his time between Canada and the New York office. Ken Fermaglich was put in charge of the NYC headquarters.
This is a reunion of sorts for Herman and Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino, who used to be partners in Core Audience Entertainment, Canada’s second-largest promotion company when it was acquired by SFX in 2000.
