Amy, who is in the Caribbean on a health kick at the posh Le Sport Spa, is allegedly having trouble getting served in the hotel bar because staff are fed up with her drunken behavior.

She’s hit back by telling the Daily Mirror that she’s not “out of control.”

“Yes, I’ve had a few drinks but I’m on holiday – I’m just young and having fun,” she explained.

The local media has been on top of her every move since the troubled British singer arrived in December, accusing her of everything from tossing a drink on a tourist to throwing up at a breakfast buffet.

But tourism minister Allen Chastanet says every picture shows Winehouse smiling or interacting with the locals and said her overall impact has been positive.

He told a TV station that the government sent her a gift basket of local products.

“In a competitive world, you hang on to any edge that you can get,” he explained.

Winehouse’s rocky marriage, which looks to be heading toward acrimonious divorce, and her problems with drugs and alcohol have received worldwide publicity.
