That’s what we want you to ponder today.  Who should Hollywood pick for the next big music biopic?

What’s more, who should star in the movie? Sure, Joaquin Phoenix played Johnny Cash in “Walk The Line” and Val Kilmer played Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone’s “The Doors,” but it took five actors and one actress to play Bob Dylan in “I’m Not There.” That might be something to keep in mind if you’re casting for the perfect actor to star in David Bowie’s life story.

Think Brad Pitt could play a rock star, jazz artist or C&W legend?

And don’t be afraid to name a band or artist that’s already been the subject of at least one film or TV biopic. We suspect the definitive Beatles biopic has yet to be made. Same goes for Elvis.

Chances are, somebody in Hollywood is thinking about this right now. So why not give them a nudge in the right direction by posting which band or artist deserves the big screen treatment? Who knows? Maybe the producer will award you points on the backend just for getting the ball rolling!
