Where’s Travis? Come In Travis!
Travis is touring North America in April, supporting its latest album, “Ode to J Smith.” There are oh so many inside jokes we can make, but you non-Pollstar employees wouldn’t get any of them.
Travis is going to do some warm-up shows in Mexico, opening up for Peter Gabriel March 27, 29 and 31. Then it’s off to Vancouver April 4, plus Seattle, San Francisco, Anaheim, two dates in L.A., Chicago, Toronto and Boston, among other stops.
The band is back on the reignited label imprint Red Telephone Box. The label was created by frontman Fran Healy in 1996 when he borrowed some cash from his mom to record the single “All I Wanna Do Is Rock.” Ten million records later, the band’s returned to its DIY roots.
