Georgia Fest To Continue
A pending bankruptcy hearing won’t keep a promoter in Lithonia, Ga., from plans to host a summer jazz series this year.
Promoter Jason Lary told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that even though his company has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection, claiming between $500,000 and $1 million in debt, he will continue the Dekalb Lithonia Summer Music Series.
Lary canceled the 2008 installment of the series following permit issues, the paper said.
