The Boss To Headline Glastonbury

Sometimes the rumors are true. As in Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band playing this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Yeah, we’ve been hearing that one for the past couple of months. But guess what? This time the rumor is no rumor.

Festival organizer Michael Eavis made the announcement.

“I’m so pleased that Bruce Springsteen has agreed to come to Worthy Farm for the first time. He’s one of the all-time rock legends and I’m confident that this will be one of our best shows ever.”

Springsteen and E Street will play Glastonbury June 27, one night before they tackle “Hard Rock Calling” at London’s Hyde Park. Other festivals on the Boss’ calendar include PinkPop in the Netherlands May 30 and “Festival Des Vieilles Charrues” in France July 16.
