Powderfinger Guitarist Sues Casino

Powderfinger guitarist Ian Haug is suing Brisbane’s Treasury Casino over a February 2006 incident that he claims left him with a serious injury to his left wrist.

He was celebrating his 36th birthday at the casino when a patron slapped him in the face.

The patron was removed by security, who ordered Haug to move to another part of the casino or be thrown out himself.

He refused, and was placed in a wrist lock “with significant pressure and excessive force.”

He returned inside to get the bouncers’ names and claims he was given the wrist lock again on his way out. He is suing for personal injuries, loss of past and future earnings, interest and legal costs.
