Now Touring: MSG

Madison Square Garden has figured out a way to produce income when nothing’s going on in the building: let people walk around it.

The famous New York venue has announced the “All Access Tour,” where mere mortals can visit the arena floor, luxury suites and locker rooms as well as inspect some of the victory banners up close.

They also get to sit on the New York Rangers’ hockey bench and get an explanation on the logistics of a “changeover.”

Adults pay $18.50, senior citizens $15 and children $12. It’s probably an idea worth stealing – although, admittedly, the more iconic the venue, the better.
