Big Easy’s Essence Festival Announces Day By Day Lineup

Beyoncé, John Legend, Maxwell, Anita Baker, Lionel Richie and Maze feat. Frankie Beverly headline the three day festival set for July 3 through 5 at the Louisiana Superdome.

There’ll be plenty to choose from this summer at Essence. Robin Thicke, Al Green, Melanie Fiona, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Eric Benet and Blind Boys of Alabama are just some of the artists and groups playing the three-day extravaganza.

Friday, July 3 – Main stage: Beyoncé, John Legend, Ne-Yo, Salt-N-Pepa, DJ Soul SisterSuperlounges: Eric Benet, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, , Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars, Keri Hilson, Marva Wright, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Preservation Hall Jazz Band Revue, Dwele, DJ Captain Charles, DJ Jubilee, DJ Dynamite Dave Soul and DJ EF Cuttin.
