Simon & Garfunkel Down Under
Their three-song performance at New York’s Beacon Theatre in February started the rumor mill buzzing about Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. Now the duo has kicked up the speculation by announcing a run of summer shows.
Simon & Garfunkel’s first down under trek together since 1983 kicks off in New Zealand June 13 at Auckland’s Vector Arena and then heads to Australia for stops in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Art Garfunkel and Paul Simon in 2007. The duo’s shows together in Australia and New Zealand will be their first in 25 years.
The eight shows are the pair’s only confirmed appearances together for 2009 so far.
A special Visa presale is available for all shows beginning April 6 and ending April 8.
Tickets go on sale to the general public April 17.
