AEG To Ink With Orlando

AEG Live is reportedly close to reaching a deal with an entire city – Orlando, Fla.

The city and AEG are expected to sign a two-year deal that will involve a net revenue split on shows at the Amway Arena and Bob Carr Performing Arts Center, according to the Los Angeles Business Journal.

AEG is expected to control booking at the two city-owned venues and the profit will be split 60-40 with the city getting the higher percentage unless the city’s annual cumulative share exceeds $425,000, according to the Journal.

In that case, the net revenue split is even.

Much of AEG’s powerbrokers were at Coachella at press time and could not be reached for further details.
