ACMs See Ratings Boost
The 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas had a 21 percent increase in ratings.
Program officials said about 15 million viewers watched the show April 5 on CBS-TV.
Show officials said it had the top spot for the night during every hour of the three-hour show.
The audience was the biggest for the program since 1998. About 3 million more viewers watched than last year.
According to Nielsen Media Research, it was the seventh highest-rated program of the week.
