Britney Fan Tries To Join The Circus
Some artists ask fans to come dance on stage. This was not one of those shows. Britney was singing “Womanizer” during her second night at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville when 20-year-old Kyle King climbed onto the center-ring stage and tried to get some one-on-one dance time with Britney herself.
When King comes face-to-face with her, as seen in the video posted below, Britney appears not to miss a beat of her dance moves.
King’s personal time with the pop star was quickly cut short as he was dragged away by her real backup dancers and security.
After leaving the diva/police officer-wannabe’s side, King then met up with the Connecticut State Police. He was arrested for breach of peace and then booked on charges of interfering with police after being uncooperative with officers.
TMZ reported the fan was released on $250 bail May 3 but he’s set to head to Norwich Superior Court June 18.
Although he spent the night in jail and wasted $250 on bail, the fan seems to think the experience was totally worth it. King was so proud of his five seconds of fame he posted the TMZ story about his arrest under the “about me” section on his MySpace page. Oh, and his updated “mood” status? “Amused.”
On Tuesday Britney will do one more North American show with a gig at Montreal’s Bell Centre. She then heads to London for a European tour, with dates on the books through July.
