The album – BLACKsummer’snight – is scheduled to drop July 7, but Maxwell’s North American tour starts a couple weeks earlier in Grand Rapids, Mich., at the DeVos Performance Hall on June 17.

Other stops include Milwaukee’s Riverside Theatre June 20; Seattle’s Paramount June 23; The Pearl in Las Vegas June 26; San Antonio’s Majestic Theatre July 2; Cleveland’s Allen Theatre July 16 and Tampa’s Ruth Eckerd Hall July 30.

Other cities and dates include Hammond, Ind., June 19; Phoenix June 29; Nashville July 12; Atlantic City July 24 and Savannah July 28. The last date on the schedule is Miami July 31 at The Knight Center.

Maxwell also appears at the BET Music Awards in Los Angeles on June 28, hits the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans on July 4 and appears on the “Late Show with David Letterman” July 10.
