The stalker is Tanya Maree Quattrocchi. The 23-year-old Australian pleaded guilty earlier this month to four charges of cyber-stalking after police arrested her for hacking into DeGarmo’s MySpace account and intercepting not only DeGarmo’s e-mails, but those belonging to her mother, Brenda, and housemate, model Donielle Morris.

But this isn’t the first time Quattrocchi’s stalker ways have run afoul of the law. In fact, the stalking actions for which she was just sentenced occurred only six months after she was tried on similar charges. In 2007 Quattrocchi was convicted and sentenced to 150 hours of community service for cyber-stalking and blackmailing DeGarmo.

Evidently Quattrochhi just doesn’t know when to give up. When police arrested her in January, she was typing an e-mail pretending to be DeGarmo’s mom.

Now she’s going to have some time to ponder her life as a cyber-stalker. The judge sentenced her to 26 months in prison. She will be eligible for parole after serving the first year of the sentence.
