R&R Officially Folds
Radio & Records, now known as R&R, weekly trade mag for the radio and music industries, quietly closed its doors today, June 3.
The magazine, which was founded in 1973, reported news and airplay information for radio. It saw its last print under the name Radio & Records in 2006 but was bought and relaunched by VNU Media and integrated with Billboard Radio Monitor as R&R.
The magazine had been on life support for some time, and many of the magazine’s employees had already moved over to Billboard, also a VNU company.
