Miley Cyrus’ First U.K. Tour

A week after Miley Cyrus announced she was hitting the road for her first North American arena tour without her “Hannah Montana” TV alter ego, the teen actress/singer revealed she had also booked a number of shows for her first U.K. tour.

In December the 16-year-old megastar heads for the U.K., playing London’s The O2 Dec. 13-14, followed by two shows at The O2 in Dublin, Ireland, Dec. 16-17. Then she’s off to LG Arena in Birmingham Dec. 22-23, followed by two nights at the Manchester Evening News Arena Dec. 27-28.

Wal-Mart shareholders’ meeting, Fayetteville, Ark.

Cyrus’ 45-city North American tour kicks off Sept. 14 at Portland’s Rose Garden Arena and winds down Dec. 2 in Miami at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

The tour will feature special guest Metro Station, whose members include Miley’s big brother, Chase.

Along with doing shows on two continents, Cyrus has teamed with designer Max Azria of apparel house BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP to create a new clothing line called Miley Cyrus & Max Azria, which debuts exclusively at WalMart in August.

She’s also staying busy with the “Hannah Montana” Disney Channel series, having recently confirmed that she’s sticking around for a fourth season.

Fans that can’t wait to catch episodes of the upcoming season can still check out “Hannah Montana: The Movie” in theatres. The flick hit theatres in the U.S. and Canada in April.
