First up is The Brighton Port Authority. What’s that? You don’t have any idea who the heck that is? Actually, you probably do.

The BPA is a new side project of Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) that features vocals by an all-star roster that includes David Byrne, Iggy Pop, Dizzee Rascal, Jamie T and Ashley Beedle.

Cook, along with partner-in-crime Iggy Pop will drop by “Late Show with David Letterman” June 22 and “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on June 23.

The busy musician/producer/former Housemartin will also slip into his alter-ego Fatboy Slim for a June 24 show at New York City’s Terminal 5.

If indie electro-pop’s not your thing, you might prefer to tune in to “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on June 24.

Joining Ferguson that night will be blues diva Bettye LaVette, who has been enjoying a surge of popularity lately thanks to her 2007 release The Scene of the Crime and appearances at President Obama’s pre-inaugural concert and the 2008 Kennedy Center honors, where she sang The Who’s “Love Reign O’er Me.”

LaVette will be performing Sam Cook’s “A Change Is Gonna Come,” the song she sang with Jon Bon Jovi at the pre-inaugural celebration and the title track from her new six-song EP which is available exclusively via iTunes.
