One of the bigger stories breaking over the weekend was word from the physician treating Jackson. Speaking through his lawyer, Dr. Conrad Murray denied giving excessive amounts of drugs to the pop star.

“Dr. Murray has never prescribed nor administered Demerol to Michael Jackson,” said Murray’s lawer, Edward Chernoff. “Not ever. Not that day. … Not Oxycontin (either) for that matter.” – Associated Press

The doctor also says the promoter of the London O2 Arena shows – AEG Live – owes him money. – Associated Press
