Top Dutch Clubs Stay With TM

Paradiso and Melkweg, two of Europe’s best-known club venues, have announced a multi-year extension to their more than decade-long partnership with Ticketmaster.

The venues, which are in central Amsterdam and a must-play for growing acts, attract more than 1 million fans per year.

Melkweg (“Milkyway”) director Cor Schlosser says the venues are pleased to renew the relationship because of the proven technology, versatility and competitive costs delivered by Ticket Service, the U.S. ticket giant’s Dutch subsidiary.

“The partnership of Ticket Service and Paradiso has been proven state of the art ticketing by physical distribution for a long time. This new step will innovate our e-ticketing strategy to the same level and create the ideal combination of both hard-copy and e-ticketing,” said Paradiso director Pierre Ballings.
