There are conflicting reports as to why Madonna is nixing her scheduled Aug. 20 stop in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Reuters reports local media is citing poor ticket sales, while Live Nation says nothing of the kind, and blames that ol’ devil known as “logistical difficulties.” Nevertheless, Maddy ain’t playin’ Ljubljana Aug. 20.

Looks like Nashville fans will have to wait a couple more months for Springsteen as The Boss pushes his Sept. 10 Sommet Center gig back to Nov. 18. The Associated Press says no reason has been made public for the switcheroo. As planned for the original Sept. 10 date, Springsteen and E Street will perform the Born To Run album from start-to-finish.

Turns out Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler isn’t the only singer waylaid by an injury. A knee injury suffered by Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz has caused the band to cancel tonight’s show at The Amphitheatre at the Warf in Orange Beach, Ala. A message from the band says tonight’s show is the only date affected.

There are conflicting reports about Steven Tyler’s injuries, with Associated Press sticking with the rather generic “head, neck and shoulder” description, while Reuters lays it on the line by reporting Aerosmith frontman accidentally tumbled into the audience at the Legendary Buffalo Chip campground in Sturgis, S.D.

Aerosmith was playing the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally when the sound cut out during “Love In An Elevator.” While waiting for technicians to fix, well, technical problems, Tyler entertained the fans with a few spontaneous dance moves until he accidentally fell off the catwalk into the audience. Tyler was airlifted to Rapid City Regional Hospital for treatment. Needless to say, the show did not go on.

So far, the injury has resulted in only one postponed date – tonight’s gig in Winnipeg, Manitoba. No word yet on whether this one will be rescheduled.
