After wrapping up the fall round of dates, Paramore has plans for a U.K. and European headlining tour. More info is expected to be announced soon.
Pre-orders are currently ongoing for brand new eyes, the 11-track follow-up to the band’s 2007’s RIAA platinum certified second album, Riot! The new album was co-produced by the group as well as Grammy Award-winner Rob Cavallo, who’s worked with artists such as Green Day, Kid Rock and My Chemical Romance.
“We really tried to venture out and experiment with our sound to see how far we could push ourselves this time around,” guitarist Josh Farro explained.
“I hope that every record is a progression for us, but this one is definitely a huge leap from Riot!,” adds frontwoman Hayley Williams. “I just can’t wait to get back on the road and start playing these new songs live.”
Beginning tomorrow, you can check out what went on behind the scenes during the production of “Ignorance,” the first single from brand new eyes, on the premier of “Making The Video” on paramore.net.
Paramore, which just picked up Teen Choice Awards for “Choice Rock Group” and “Choice Music: Rock Track” for “Decode,” recently filmed an acoustic performance at a New York City studio which is set to air on “MTV Unplugged” in mid-September.
