Absolutely Revolting

After more than two decades off the road, Al Jourgensen and the newly revamped Revolting Cocks are locked and loaded for a fall trek.

RevCo kicks off its Lubricatour Sept. 10 at Club 101 in El Paso, Texas, and will wreak their patented brand of havoc on clubs and theatres from coast to coast through the end of October.

“The Cocks are cummin’ to you town soon. Hide your daughters,” Jourgensen said.

The freshly invigorated version of RevCo features Jourgensen, singer Josh Bradford, guitarist Sin Quirin and keyboardist/electronic specialist Clayton Worbeck. They’ll be joined on the road by drummer Aaron Rossi (Ministry, Prong, ) and bassist Murv Douglas (Opus Dai, Weapon X, Powerman 5000).

The ringmaster and master of ceremonies for the evening, which includes support bands Blownload and Left Spine Down, is none other than Jim Rose, who will bring along his “caravan of amazing things you can’t unsee.”

Rose, who is recently recovered from head and neck injuries he suffered during his Jim Rose vs. Jake The Snake Roberts tour earlier this year, promises “These might very well be the most shocking and theatrical events I’ve ever been on and that’s just RevCo.

“I’ve also got more than old track marks up my sleeve for this sojourn and I can’t wait to show the world.”

Fans can also expect some surprises along the way, as RevCo are known to attract guest appearances by industrial and punk icons whenever they tour.

To mark the trek Jourgensen and company are releasing Sex-O MiXXX-O, a 10 track album of remixes from Sex-O Olympic-O which was released earlier this year.

The collection features re-imagined cuts by Chris Vrenna, Skinny Puppy’s Dave “Rave” Olgilvie, Gravity Kills’ Dough Firley, Combichrist’s Andy LaPleuga, Worbeck and others.

Sex-O MiXXX-O is due Sept. 29.
