WME Layoffs Hit Music Division

The good news at WME Entertainment is that apparently the layoffs are finished. The bad news is that three people from the music department were reportedly let go.

Ben Bernstein, a veteran agent, is no longer with the company, although Pollstar could not confirm he was one of the three agents whose contracts were up, as reported by Deadline Hollywood.

WME’s Ari Emanuel recently told a staff meeting that, after just three months, the layoffs are complete and the next step is integration, according to the Nikki Finke column.

A WME spokesman was not available at press time.
