Rod Stewart Sued

Prominent entertainment law firm Glaser, Weil, Fink, Jacobs and Shapiro filed papers against Rod Stewart Nov. 17, claiming there’s a reason to believe he owes $3.3 million in legal fees.

Stewart owes the law firm for work on three cases – a 2000 cancellation in Vegas for which a federal jury ordered him to pay $2 million to the Rio hotel casino; a trademark-infringement case and a lawsuit filed by a concert promoter, according to the lawsuit.

Now the Rock And Roll Hall of Famer faces the same people who once represented him. Stewart’s attorney at the time of the concerns was notable entertainment lawyer Skip Miller.
