Springsteen’s House, Cyrus’ Walmart Exclusive, Muppets Do Queen and Holiday Cheer For Troops
Boss’ House Might Have A Buyer
The house where Bruce Springsteen once lived in during the mid 1970s while writing “Born To Run” could end up in the hands of three of The Boss’ fans.
The Asbury Park Press reports the Long Branch, N.J., bungalow is under contract to three Springsteen fans, although only one of them will live in the house if the deal closes.
Real estate agent Susan McLaughlin of Keller Williams Reality said the home was listed at $299,000, but she could not disclose the amount offered for the house until after the sale closes.
“The sellers are very happy with the price,” McLaughlin said, adding there were multiple offers.

Taking It To The Troops
Our brave members of the military will not miss out on entertainment this holiday season thanks to folks like Kid Rock, R. Kelly and actor Gary Sinese.
Kid Rock and his Twisted Brown Trucker Band will head overseas to entertain American troops in Southwest Asia and families in Europe Nov. 30 through Dec. 12.
Joining The Kid will be comedian Carlos Mencia, singer / songwriter Jessie James and members of the U.S. Air Force in Europe Band and the Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
The schedule includes stops at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, RAF Lakenheath, England, plus several deployment locations in Southwest Asia.
“We’re extremely excited about Kid Rock bringing his band and full production show to the troops for the very first time,” said Chief Master Sgt. Jay Willis, deputy director of the Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve and the tour producer. “Kid Rock is a favorite among our young service members, and he’s eager to meet with them and put on a show they won’t soon forget.”
But Kid isn’t the only one bringing good times to the troops. Gary Sinise and his band – The Lt. Dan Band – are heading to Afghanistan for a tour of military bases.
Sinese, along with actress Kristy Swanson, comedian Kevin Farley, model / TV host Leeann Tweeden and actor Mykelti Williamson, will play three military bases in Afghanistan during the Thanksgiving Day weekend.
R. Kelly is also doing his part to help American soldiers. The R&B star is hosting a special Thanksgiving dinner tonight for 200 soldiers from Walter Reed Army Medical Center and other Army facilities in the Washington, D.C., area.
The dinner takes place at Washington’s DAR Constitution Hall which also happens to be the place Kelly is playing tonight as part of his “Ladies Make Some Noise” tour. Kelly’s military guests for tonight’s dinner will also be his guests for the show.
Muppets’ Queen Tribute Goes Viral
Yesterday we posted a video depicting The Muppets singing the Queen classic “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
As it turns out, we weren’t the only ones helping to spread Queen’s classic rock tune as performed by one of the world’s most famous collection of non-human performers.
MTV praised the vid, saying it “could easily become the best Internet meme in the history of the Web.”
We really don’t have an opinion on whether it’s that great. But we were looking for an opportunity to repost the video, and MTV’s praises are as good an excuse as any. Enjoy.
