Ronnie Wood Arrested

The 62-year-old guitarist was arrested in London Wednesday night on suspicion of assault in connection with a domestic violence incident.

But he’s already out of the lockup, having posted bail this morning, according to police who so far haven’t given any details about the arrest.

“I can confirm that there was an incident last night and that Ronnie Wood was arrested,” Wood’s spokesman, David Rigg, said. “He has since been released on police bail.”

Wood’s battle with alcoholism is well known, as are the rocker’s many rehab stints. Wood made tabloid headlines in July 2008 when he took up with a young Russian named Ekaterina Ivanova, leading to his 24-year-old marriage ending in divorce just last month.
