Were there shows in 2009 that, despite your best intentions, you weren’t in the audience for when the house lights dimmed?

We’re talking about those shows you had every intention of seeing. Concerts for which you bought tickets, made plans, hired babysitters and perhaps even took time off from work. But when show time rolled around you were somewhere … else.

Maybe you couldn’t afford the tickets. Or maybe your travel plans and that of the band just didn’t sync up.
