The Feb. 8 Jefferson Theatre show is a benefit for the Kristine Anastasio Manning Memorial Fund. The memorial fund was set up by the Anastasio and Manning families to honor Anastasio’s sister, an esteemed environmentalist and author who died of neuroendocrine cancer last April. The fund benefits a number of causes that Kristy supported including the Seven Below Arts Initiative in Burlington, Vt.; the Carolina Friends School/Afghan Sister School Project in Durham, N.C.; and the Neuroendocrine Tumor Clinic at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Fla., according to staticmultimedia.com.

Classic TAB will feature the same lineup that performed with Anastasio on his last trek – Russ Lawton (drums), Tony Markellis (bass) and Ray Paczkowski (keyboards) – in addition to the horns section featuring Russell Remington (tenor saxophone and flute) and Jen Hartswick (trumpet and vocals). The band will also be joined by newcomer Natalie Cressman on trombone and vocals.

A limited number of tickets for all shows will be available through a presale ticket on Anastasio’s online ticketing system at treytickets.rlc.net. The presale begins tomorrow Jan. 6 at 10 a.m. EST and ends Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. EST.

The remaining tickets will then go on sale Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. EST. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.ticketfly.com/ or charge by phone at 1-877-4FLY-TIX. Tickets can also be purchased at the venue box office.

Anastasio has released a number of solo studio albums, including his 2009 collaboration with Orchestra Nashville conductor and arranger Don Hart, Time Turns Elastic.
