Hot Chips’s MySpace Secret Show
Hot Chip is inviting fans to come celebrate the upcoming release of the British electropop band’s fourth studio album, One Life Stand. The album is set for release on Astralwerks Feb. 9, four days after the Secret Show.
The show takes place at NYC’s HighLine Ballroom. Doors for the all-ages event open at 7 p.m. with fans let in on a first-come, first-serve basis. Philadelphia-based rock quintet Free Energy will open the show.
Fans that can’t make it to NYC can still check out the show by clicking onto Hot Chip’s official MySpace Music page this Friday. MySpace Music is streaming the concert live in partnership with Livestream beginning at 8 p.m. EST.
After playing the HighLine Ballroom, Hot Chip will stick around New York for a show the following night at Music Hall Of Williamsburg in Brooklyn.
The band then kicks off its U.K. tour with dates on the books Feb. 12-27 followed by a gig in Brussels, Belgium (March 7) and a round of North American shows April 16-25.
