Hilton, BEP Tour Manager Settle Lawsuit

A judge has agreed to dismiss a lawsuit filed by gossip blogger Perez Hilton against The Black Eyed Peas’ tour manager today after the two parties reached a settlement.

BEP tour manager Liborio Molina punched Hilton last June at a Toronto nightclub after the gossipmonger got into an argument with members Fergie and will.i.am. According to reports, Hilton, who is openly gay, called will.i.am a “faggot” after the musician asked him not to write about the Peas on his Web site.

The incident took an almost surreal turn when Perez returned to his hotel after the dustup and sent tweets to his followers asking that someone call the police – a somewhat odd moment that attracted John Mayer’s attention and resulted in a tweet war between the artist and Hilton.

“I love that perezhilton uses his cellphone to log on to twitter to post a tweet to ask his followers to call the police for him,” Mayer tweeted.

Meanwhile, actress Kirstie Alley, who has received her share of negative press from Hilton’s gossip machine, also jumped into the Twitter fracas, aiming a tweet at will.i.am declaring the Black Eyed Peas member as her “hero” and that Perez should “only duke it out with lentils” and that he should “leave the Black Eyed Peas to the big boys.”

Molina did apologize to Perez last year as part of an agreement to avoid assault charges.
