A couple of years ago, the folks who run Coachella’s country sibling, the Stagecoach Music Festival, discovered something interesting about people who watch daytime dramas (or “soaps” as they’re more commonly known). It turns out those people also love country music. It was a match made in heaven.
In fact, the partnership between Stagecoach and daytime drama fans has been so successful that ABC Daytime and SOAPnet, the all-things-soap cable network, are once again official sponsors of the two-day hootenanny in Indio, Calif.
During this year’s festivities, which are scheduled for April 24-25, fans can get up close and personal with some of their favorites from “All My Children,” “One Life to Live” and “General Hospital” with autograph sessions, giveaways, raffles and even the Soap Nation mini-spa.
And fans who purchase tickets and enter the special code SOAPNATION will gain entry into the exclusive SOAPnet and ABC Daytime meet & greet at the Soap Nation tent. (But hurry, there’s a limited number of opportunities available!)
