Beyoncé Rep Denies Gunfire Finale

Reports published during the weekend claimed Beyoncé’s Salvador, Brazil, show was interrupted by gunfire. But a representative for the singer says it ain’t so.

Some accounts reported fans leaving the venue were confronted by gunman while other media outlets claimed gunfire forced last week’s concert to end early.

But a message posted on Beyoncé’s Web site contradicts those reports, saying there were no problems in Salvador or at any of the singer’s Brazilian shows.

From Beyoncé.com:

“The reports of gunfire during Beyoncé’s concert in Brazil that allegedly ended her show early, are totally false. Beyoncé played to record crowds on her recent tour in Brazil without incident, including an audience of 60,000 in São Paulo on Saturday, February 6 and two sold-out shows in Rio on February 7 and 8.”
