Sebastian Bach Plays The Hero At GNR Gig

Valentine’s Day is supposed to be for lovers, but a man who walked into a private Guns N’ Roses gig Sunday night flashing a knife received anything but affection.

The band was playing an intimate concert as part of the exclusive “Nur Khan’s Rose Bar Sessions” at New York City’s Gramercy Park Hotel when an unidentified man walked into the room and whipped out a switchblade, according to the New York Post.

But the knife-wielder didn’t count on former Skid Row frontman and long-time Axl Rose friend Sebastian Bach standing next to the door. The rocker reportedly tackled the man, who was then quickly ejected from the premises by security.

“The man walked in while Guns N’ Roses was onstage and pulled out a knife and flicked the blade out,” a witness told the Post. “Sebastian, who was standing on a banquette said: ‘Nobody is getting anywhere near my man Axl Rose with a knife,’ and went after him.”

According to the Post, the incident occurred so quickly that nobody in the celeb-packed audience knew what happened.
