For country music artists, performing at the CMA Music Festival means playing for the most intensely loyal audiences they may ever encounter.

The festival is also a charity event with the artists appearing for free. In return, CMA donates half of the festival’s net proceeds to support music education in Metro Nashville public schools. To date, the CMA Music Festival has donated $3.3 million for purchasing musical instruments and school supplies.
