Bhatti Running Boston Bowery

New York-based Bowery Presents has officially announced the opening of its Boston office.

The facility will be run by Bowery’s Josh Bhatti and be located on the premises of the renovated Royale Nightclub, known as The Roxy before it shuttered.

The Bowery Presents Boston has signed a long-term agreement with the club to bring at least 100 shows a year to the 1,305-capacity venue.

Bhatti will not only be responsible for booking the Royale but possibly other venues and festivals in the Boston area as well as acting as a liaison with the community, according to a statement.
