Get Wet With Paisley
Joining Paisley on the tour will be special guests Darius Rucker and Justin Moore.
The United Nations General Assembly designated March 22 as World Water Day back in 1993. Since then, World Water Day has been used to draw attention to critical water issues throughout the globe, such as 1 in 5 people not having access to pure drinking water.
But Paisley will be doing his part to bring more water to more people. Along with partnering with Hope Through Healing Hands the tour will feature a “Water World Plaza.” Sponsored by Sea Ray Boats and Skinny Water, the plaza will turn every tour date into a water festival as well as feature emerging artists Easton Corbin, Steel Magnolia and Josh Thompson on the “Water World Plaza Stage.”
Other attractions include a Chevy H2o FLW Fishing simulator and a dunking booth. Speaking of Chevy, the auto manufacturer/tour sponsor will provide a driving simulator for fans to test their road skills on the latest Corvette ZR1 series against Paisley himself.
“If they can beat me, they can meet me,” Paisley said.
Paisley’s H2O World tour begins in Virginia Beach at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre May 21. Other stops include Bristow, Va., at Jiffy Lube Live May 22; Kansas City at the Sprint Center May 29 and Maryland Heights near St. Louis at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre May 29.
Other markets include Detroit (June 11), Chicago (June 16), Dallas (Aug. 7), Seattle (Sept. 11) and Boise (Sept. 23).
But it’s not called a “world tour” for nothing. Paisley, minus Rucker and Moore, will play two nights at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire June 23-24 and Oslo’s Notodden Music Festival June 25.
“I’ve never been this excited about a tour,” Paisley said. “After one of the worst winters I can remember, we’re going to make up for it this summer.”
