Whitney Postpones More Dates

The upper respiratory infection that waylaid Whitney Houston’s Paris gig has accompanied her across the channel, forcing the diva to postpone her first three U.K. dates.

Houston was scheduled to play the Manchester Evening News Arena April 8-9. Those shows are now slotted for the end of the tour – June 16-17.

Fans in Glasgow won’t have to wait nearly as long. Houston postponed her April 11 date at the S.E.C.C. to May 1.

So far, the score is upper respiratory infection 4, Houston 0, as the ailment forced her to postpone her Paris concert, originally scheduled for April 6.

According to French media reports, the show was postponed after she was admitted to a hospital and treated for throat and respiratory infections.

Houston is now scheduled to play Paris June 1.
