Heineken Voted Most Inspirational
Before we give away any more details, let’s get the legal stuff out of the way – because brews are involved, the events are limited to fans who are over 21. The shows are also exclusively available to U.S. residents.
“Heineken Inspire” is a four-city tour that features two days and four shows in each city.
The fun begins May 21 and 22 at the Design District in Miami. Friday’s 3 p.m. show features DJ Irie with the 9 p.m. show featuring sets by DJ Chad Hugo, Cold War Kids and The Hold Steady. On Saturday at 2 p.m. fans will be treated to performances by Fabolous, DJ Irie and Wale followed by a 9 p.m. event with MezclaSonic DJs and Tito El Bambino.
The tour then moves on to Chicago June 25-26 with sets by DJ Jazzy Jeff, Los Babasonicos, MezclaSonic DJs, D-Nice, J.Cole, Ryan Leslie, Cold War Kids, Matt and Kim and DJ Vice.
The Big Apple is hosting the party July 30-31 with entertainment provided by A-Trak, Cold War Kids, Rogue Wave and DJ Vice. D-Nice is also coming to New York along with J. Cole, Wale, Tito El Bambino and MezclaSonic DJs.
“Heineken Inspire” wraps up in Los Angeles Aug. 27-28 with sets by DJ Jazzy Jeff, Los Babsonicos, MezclaSonic DJs, D-Nice, Ryan Leslie, Fabolous, The Hold Steady, Joel Madden and Rogue Wave.
Although the shows are invitation-only, it’s not too difficult to snag an invite. If you’d like to hang with Heineken, simply log onto Facebook and check out the Dutch brewing company’s page. Become a fan of Heineken and click on the “Inspire USA” tab. A link in the middle of the page will direct you to sign up for your tickets, with a note that tickets are on a “first come, first served” basis. Heineken is currently taking reservations for the Miami shows.
“We’re excited to host an eclectic mix of top-notch, exclusive events this summer,” said Shane Hoyne, Senior Brand Director, Heineken USA. “Between the hot talent line-up, DJ’s, and other on-site experiences, we’ve created something truly remarkable.”
In addition to an afternoon and evening of great music, the “Heineken Inspire” events will also feature a tasting area where fans can enjoy Heineken or Heineken Light on Draught and learn how to pour the perfect pint. Fender will also offer attendees a free guitar lesson. In between sets fans can check out the Heineken Heritage interactive exhibit by playing tennis, rocking out to their favorite songs or downloading the Heineken USA-sponsored Taxi Magic App.
