Summer Tour For Umphrey’s McGee

Umphrey’s McGee lays it all out in the open for you as the band lists its complete summer schedule enabling you to begin making plans today.

You wanna see the band perform at music festivals? There’s plenty to pick from, including stops at , , , and . Meanwhile, Denver gets the band July 3 for “Red Rocks & Blue” at Red Rocks that also features Galactic (with Cyril Neville) and The Wailers.

And if you want to see them open for Widespread Panic, mark July 13 at the LC Outdoor Amphitheater in Columbus, Ohio, on your concert calendar.

The band’s summer sojourn begins at Summer Camp in Chillicothe, Ill., May 28-30. Then it’s down to New Orleans and House Of Blues June 2, followed by Dallas at House Of Blues June 3, before heading to Wakarusa in Ozark, Ark., June 4-5.

Other dates include an intimate performance in Englewood, Colo., at the Gothic Theatre July 4; a co-headline with moe., in Sylvania, Ohio, at the Centennial Terrace; Grand Rapids, Mich., at Frederick Meijer Gardens July 16; and Norfolk’s NorVa Aug. 11.

Umphrey’s McGee also a couple of festival appearances that don’t fit into the summer timeframe – the in Live Oak, Fla. and the Mayan Holidaze on the Mayan Riviera with The Disco Biscuits and STS9. The festivals are scheduled for Nov. 12-14 and Jan. 20-24, respectively, but no word on which day / days the band will appear.
