Psst! Wanna Go To The “American Idol” Finale?

So you say you’re an “American Idol” fan? Did you know about the awesome new place to get your hands on tons of officially-licensed, limited-edition “Idol” swag? Ready for this? It’s QVC.

QVC’s “American Idol Fanshop” launched last Thursday with an appearance by “Idol” alum Kimberly Caldwell, who performed live and offered viewers a chance to order her new album, Without Regret.

Next up is Danny Gokey who’ll drop by on May 13 to sing a song or two and give fans an opportunity to get their hands on his latest, My Best Days Are Ahead of Me.

May 18 will see a visit to the QVC set by Chris Allen and his eponymous new CD, May 25 will feature a second appearance by Gokey and Caldwell will make a return visit on May 27.

Besides a chance to see their favorite former contestants performing live in the intimate setting of the network’s studios, “Fanshop” also gives fans exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to season nine of Fox’s hit singing competition, not to mention the inside track on hot “Idol” gear.

Wait a minute? Didn’t somebody say something about going to the “American Idol” finale? As a matter of fact, I did.

Because QVC and Pollstar love our readers who also happen to be “Idol” fans, we’ve teamed up to offer you a chance to win a pair of tickets to see the May 26 finale in person at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

And we’ll make this really simple. To enter, simply fire up your crystal ball and make your pick for the final two contestants. Will it be Crystal Bowersox, Michael “Big Mike” Lynche, Casey James or Lee DeWyze that will be vying for the top spot?

Once you’ve made your decision, send your full name, address and a daytime telephone number to [email protected].

Heads up! Legal mumbo jumbo in 3, 2, 1…

Employees of Pollstar, QVC, Freemantle Media, Fox or any of their subsidiaries aren’t eligible to win. (Sorry Mom – that goes for relatives too.)

Only one entry per person please.

And finally, keep in mind that the prize is one pair of tickets for the “AI” finale: Airfare, transportation, hotel, etc., are the responsibility of the winner.

The contest runs from now until midnight May 18. A winner will be chosen randomly from among all entries correctly identifying the final two contestants.

The winner will be announced the morning after the May 19 “American Idol” results show.

Good luck!
