How To Skip Tom Petty Ticket Service Fees
The limited time offer coincides with the May 15th season finale of SNL hosted by “30 Rock” star Alec Baldwin. Fans can purchase Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers tickets without ticket processing fees beginning May 15 at 11:30 p.m. EST. You have to act quickly though because the 72-hour promotion ends May 18th at 11:59 EST.
The offer is only available at participating venues and other fees may apply.
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers kick off their summer tour June 1 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo. After playing a slew of dates across the U.S. and Canada, the tour wraps up Oct. 2 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, Calif.
Additional shows include Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta (June 15), Qwest Center Omaha in Nebraska (June 23), United Center in Chicago (July 17), Madison Square Garden Arena in New York (July 28) and US Airways Center in Phoenix, Ariz. (Sept. 26).

Fans that purchase 2010 tour tickets online will receive an MP3 download of all of the tunes from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ new album, Mojo. The band’s twelfth studio album is set for release June 15, marking Petty’s first album with The Heartbreakers in eight years.
After purchasing tickets, fans will be sent an email with codes allowing them to download two tracks from Mojo – “First Flash Of Freedom” and “Good Enough.” On the album’s release date, fans will be sent a download of the entire album. Every online ticket purchase will also feature a selection of live tracks recorded during the tour. The tunes will be sent to fans at the end of the 2010 tour.
