Yo GabbaMania!

It’s a great year to be a kid as DJ Lance Rock and the cast of “Yo Gabba Gabba!” fire up the ol’ tour bus for a 60-city adventure in musical fun.

It’s also a great time to be a “Yo Gabba Gabba!” member. So far the cast of the popular kid’s show has performed at the White House, released a best-selling album and a member even played Coachella, leading us to suspect a chunk of the show’s fanbase is much older than anyone ever suspected.

The summer / fall outing – “Yo Gabba Gabba! Live!: There’s A Party In My City” – begins in August and every tour stop will feature the gang working with various local projects involved with building homes. The tour is also donating $1 from every ticket sold to local Habitat For Humanity affiliates.

But before we get to the tour dates, we need to tell you that Gabba’s DJ Lance Rock and friends are holding a dance party at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, N.Y., May 20. It goes without saying this is an all-ages show.

Produced by S2BN Entertainment in association with Wildbrain Entertainment and The Magic Store, the summer tour begins in Bethel, N.Y., at the Center For The Arts Aug. 27; lands in the D.C. area for a show in Bristow, Va., at Jiffy Lube Live Aug. 28 and plays Philadelphia at the Mann Center For Performing Arts Aug. 29.

Other cities include Buffalo (Sept. 3), Toronto (Sept. 4), Montreal (Sept. 5), Calgary (Sept. 9), Boston (Sept. 25-26), New York City (Oct. 2-3), Atlanta (Oct. 23) and Los Angeles (Nov. 26-27).

But the above is just an overview. With 60 cities on the itinerary, the only way you can truly appreciate the routing genius and exceptional city arrangement is to look at the schedule. It’s truly a masterpiece, a stupendous chronological achievement encompassing space, time and concert halls.

A pre-sale for American Express Cardholders begins May 20 and a GabbaTix presale for fans begins May 26. VIP packages, including meet-n-greets are also available. For more information, click here for the tour’s website.
