Off-duty officer Anthony Hollis recently found himself in hot water at a Nickelback show at the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, Ind., when he took his girlfriend into the men’s room and ran into a deputy working security.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputy Vicky Dunbar told the Indianapolis Star in a statement that when the pair was questioned by the deputy, Hollis tried to downplay the situation, saying, “there’s no need to worry about it,” and telling his girlfriend to leave.

When the deputy grabbed the woman’s arm, Hollis reportedly started a scuffle before being placed under arrest.

“When he arrived at our office, he continued to be verbally belligerent,” Dunbar said. “He told officers he was a Martinsville police officer and they didn’t know what they were doing.”

Hollis was administered an alcohol breath test, which registered 0.11 percent, the statement said. He was cited for misdemeanor public intoxication and released the next day on a $2,500 bond.
