Coring Apple

The Justice Department, which has launched an antitrust probe into Apple iTunes, is expanding its probe beyond music, according to the New York Post.

The once-outsider is now the big boy of the computer biz and has been criticized for throwing its weight around and for banning Adobe’s Flash, the most popular video software on the Internet, from all its devices.

“If Apple thinks it’s going to increase its monopoly with the iPad, it should look at the history of other walled gardens,” a media company source told the Post.
