Life Is Good Festival At Blue Hills Lineup
Life is good Festival at Blue Hills takes place Sept. 11-12 at Prowse Farm in Canton, a suburb of Boston.
The fest is being hosted by Life is good, a Boston-based apparel and accessories company, in partnership with Superfly Presents, which produces both the Bonnaroo and Outside Lands festivals.
The lineup also includes Ziggy Marley, Corinne Bailey Rae, Galactic, Ozomatli, Dr. Dog, Grace Potter And The Nocturnals, Brett Dennen, Mavis Staples, Donavon Frankenreiter, Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and Toubab Krewe.
The little ones are also guaranteed to have a great time while living it up at the Good Kids Stage with performances from The Laurie Berkner Band, Dan Zanes & Friends, They Might Be Giants, Big Apple Circus and The Sippy Cups.
Although most festivals offer fans the chance to experience the VIP treatment by forking over a ton of money, Life is good is offering special privileges to VGPs – Very Good People. Attendees can become VGPs and enjoy special perks and privileges, including preferred viewing and artist meet and greets, by achieving fundraising goals or making a donation to help kids in need.
All public donations, including individual fundraising prior to the event, will go towards the Life is good Kids Foundation. The nonprofit is “committed to helping young children overcome life-threatening challenges such as extreme poverty, violence, illness and natural disasters.” Life is good festivals have raised over $3 million for children in need since 2003.
Tickets go on sale June 17 at 10 a.m. through the official Life is good website. Adult single-day tickets are priced at $50 with two-day tickets available for $90. A limited number of children’s tickets (age 6-12) are available for $10. Children five and under can get into the fest for free.
