Jackson Hospitalized For Chest Pains

Randy Jackson, former Jackson 5 member and brother to Michael, ended up in the hospital yesterday after suffering chest pains.

The 48-year-old Jackson was taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, Calif., where he is currently waiting on test results. Quoting an unidentified source close to the Jackson family, Associated Press reports doctors believe Jackson suffered a mild heart attack.

Jackson, along with other members of the music world’s famous family, attended a court hearing on Monday regarding the involuntary manslaughter charge brought against Dr. Conrad Murray. In case you haven’t been keeping up on your Michael Jackson news, Murray is the doctor accused in connection with Michael Jackson’s death on June 25 of last year.

Appearing on CNN last week, Jackson said Murray should be accused of first-degree murder and indicated others may be connected to the King of Pop’s sudden death.

Jackson sent a series of tweets during the past few weeks describing his efforts to stop an unauthorized tribute to his deceased brother planned to take place in Rome, and that he had tried to convince Forest Lawn Glendale to allow fans near Michael Jackson’s tomb on the anniversary of his death.

Jackson also tweeted about how the fans had been a source of comfort during the last 12 months.

“At times, I’m sad & broken,” Jackson tweeted. “But ur supprt helps 2 encourage me and fuel my motivation 2 continue this fight 4 truth&justice.”
